Magdalena Digital
The Magdalena del Mar Municipality needed to improve its internal management capacity, make its services more accessible, and strengthen daily interaction with neighbors. Many services still depended on in-person channels, while citizen reports and operational attention lacked an integrated digital flow that allowed for traceability and timely response.
We implemented a digital ecosystem with three connected components. First, a tool to systematize municipal assets. Second, a mobile application to communicate those assets and services in a friendly way to the citizenry and transfer to the digital environment services that previously could only be performed in person. Third, a tool for field operators that allowed them to receive tasks, record photographic evidence of resolved problems, and close reports in real time. This activated immediate notifications to the citizenry and fed an internal board of municipal tasks.
We designed and implemented a digital solution that connected the citizenry, operators, and the municipality in the same flow of reporting, attention, and service tracking.
With the support of the technology, security, environmental, and social management areas, the solution allowed for improved traceability of reports, streamlined operational response, and offered a clearer and more useful experience for neighbors. In addition, its results were presented at Smart City Expo Week Barcelona 2022.
