San Bartolo Digital

CONTEXT

The San Bartolo District Municipality needed better articulation between its different areas to manage information, reduce response times, and make decisions with greater data support. At the same time, there was an opportunity to strengthen citizen participation from a more proactive logic connected with the district's priorities.

WHAT WE DID?

We implemented a modular and interoperable platform that connects different areas of the municipal government and allows for the integration of management processes into a single system. Each module was designed to facilitate coordination between areas, reduce times, and strengthen data-driven decisions. In addition, a district contest was developed for women in the district to propose solutions to problems prioritized by the municipality, linking public management and citizen participation from an innovation logic.

OUR SOLUTION

We implemented a platform to articulate municipal areas and improve their management, and incorporated a participatory component to connect that institutional capacity with the prioritization of local solutions.

WHAT WE ACHIEVED?

The project allowed for the integration of the work of areas such as social management, oversight, security, and the environment into a common digital architecture, while opening a space for concrete participation for women in the district in building local solutions.

WHAT WE LEARNED?
"Public platforms generate more value when they not only order internal management but also create new forms of participation connected with real decisions of the territory."
